All trips with High Life Sport Fishing include a licensed captain and crew, all tackle and gear for trolling, and a spacious 32 ft. Wellcraft boat with enclosed bathroom, GPS, radar, and fishfinder. Fish cleaning is also available after the trip.
What do I need to bring for my trip?
Bring your fishing license, food and drinks, a cooler for your catch, and weather-appropriate clothing. Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.
How much does a 5-hour private fishing trip cost?
The 5-hour trip costs $640 for up to 6 people and is available seasonally on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with AM and PM departure options.
When does the 6-hour trip start and how much is it?
The 6-hour trip departs at 5:00 AM and costs $750. It’s perfect for anglers looking for more time on the water targeting Chinook and Coho Salmon.
What fish can I expect to catch?
High Life Sport Fishing targets Chinook Salmon and Coho Salmon depending on the season and conditions on Lake Michigan.
Is the boat child- and family-friendly?
Yes! Families are welcome. The boat has plenty of space and amenities like a private enclosed bathroom and a shaded cabin, making it comfortable for kids and adults alike.

High Life has nearly 40 years of local fishing experience. Captain Chris and his team know Lake Michigan waters and are dedicated to helping guests catch fish and enjoy the trip.
How fast is the boat and what powers it?
The 32 ft. Wellcraft is powered by twin 700HP 454 Chevy engines, cruising up to 35 knots to get you to the action quickly and safely.
Do you offer afternoon trips for late risers?
Yes. The 5-hour PM trip starts at 1:00 PM and offers the same chances to catch Chinook and Coho as the morning trip.

Yes, you can cancel free of charge with at least 14 days’ notice before your trip.
